Paffrath is the middle child of a family of seven. Her father, Herman Paffrath was also an actor. Her family often present newscasts and plays at family gatherings as a way to entertain her growing as a child. Her mother enrolled her into ballet, tap , and jazz class when she was just 3 years old.  Paffrath completed her studies in Journalism at the Missouri School of Journalism.
