Aisha Jamila is an American actor who is most well recognized for her appearances in TV series The Shield and True Blood. Since her 2003 debut she has proven her versatility in acting by performing outstandingly in TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 as well as Under the Dome. Her role as a character in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first one to draw her interest. Her role in the biographical film All the Way as the woman's rights activists Fannie Lou Hammer brought her to be noticed by the public. Hind was also praised for her performance as Harriet Tubman's in WGN America's drama period series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed the show for a fresh season. Hind was recently finished filming the Hollywood feature Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is scheduled to release in mid-2019. The place she was born is Mangalore, in India. Her father Krishnaraj was a Army scientist before his death on 18 March 2017. Her mother Vrinda is a homemaker. Aditya Rao who works in the field of merchant navy engineering is her sibling older. His brother wrote and produced Dil Ka Rishta, along with his mom. Arya Vidya Mandir, Mumbai was where her parents had relocated to. Jai Hind College in Mumbai is where she completed her intermediate schooling for one year, before she began at D.G. Ruparel College, Matunga. She received 90% on her H.S.C. exams. She spent five years of her adolescence studying classical dance and music. Her favourite topic was the study of zoology. Bachchan was a student at architecture in 1994 when she was chosen Miss World. This title was a boost to her career in the modeling industry. She also received an impressive contract with L'Oreal Paris as spokesmodel in 2003. The actress's career was off in a positive direction with praised parts as a lead in Iruvar (1997) and Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997). Both films defied the basic model that defined Bollywood films at the time which pushed Bachchan to prominence in Bollywood's New Bollywood. Through her stunning portrayal of the betrayed lover Paro in Devdas (2002) an extremely viewed Bollywood film and the first to be shown at the Cannes Film Festival Bachchan cemented her status as the Queen of Bollywood. The film received a lot of praise for her role of Chokher Bali (2003), a dramatic drama based upon RabindranathTagore's book. She was the first Indian to serve on the jury at the Cannes Film Festival. Bachchan was in Bride and Prejudice, a dance and musical adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice by Gurinderchadha. Bachchan was able to bring both her glam power and beauty to her major English film. She returned to Bollywood for the smash Dhoom: 2 (2006) and then released Provoked: A True Story (2006) in English. She got married Abhishek Bachchan, a co-star, who is the son of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage was a chance to bring two of India's most prominent people together.
