Charisma Carpenter

 

 Charisma Carpenter was born on July 23, 1970. [1] She starred as Cordelia Chase in Buffy the Vampire's supernatural drama (1997-1999) in addition to its spin-off series Angel (1999-04). She also starred as Kyra in Charmed (2004), Kendall Casablancas in Veronica Mars (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell in The Lying Game (2012-2013), and Lacy in The Expendables film series (2010-2012 ).

 

 

  Carpenter was born in Las Vegas, Nevada the daughter of Christine Carpenter, who was a bird sanctuary worker and Don Carpenter, a salesman. Carpenter is from Spanish (from her maternal grandmother), French, German and German descent. Carpenter was one of the students at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas. [6] She was also part of an ensemble of dance and song which was throughout the Las Vegas Valley when Carpenter was just nine years old.

 

 

  Carpenter Carpenter, who was 15 at the time, She and her family relocated to Rosarito Beach in Baja California, Mexico [2] and later , to San Diego, California. She attended Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. Carpenter went on a trip across Europe following her graduation. Carpenter returned to San Diego and worked in the video store, as an aerobics instructor, and property management. In 1991, she worked as a cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers football team In 1992, she relocated to Los Angeles.

 

 

  Henry Hubbard Jr. was a former San Diego officer and serial criminal who tried to control her and two male buddies as they were swimming in San Diego in 1991. The two of them, Henry Hubbard Jr. and her fellow swimmers were shot in the struggle. Both were able to escape. Hubbard was arrested, convicted, and sentenced to 56 years in prison for a string of robberies and rapes. Carpenter used Hubbard's flashlight from the beach, which he had abandoned at the scene and the flashlight was one of the key pieces of evidence used against him

 

 

  Carpenter was ranked No. Carpenter was No. 31 on the AskMen's Top 99 desirable women 2002[30]. 44 on their list for 2005. [31][32] Despite this, Carpenter has stated she is not a sex symbol. Carpenter was featured on the cover and the ten-page naked photoshoot of the June 2004 issue of Playboy magazine. When she was approached by People magazine in 2005 whether she would ever do Playboy again, she said, "I don't know. Playboy was something I took on to fulfill a specific goal. Not only was it an investment in my financial future, but it was about my current situation on my journey. I'd just had a son and I'd gained 50 pounds in the course of pregnancy. I wanted to be my old self again. I wanted to look at ease and attractive. I was thinking: "What if you went to the max?"
